Scratch Desktop 3.18.1 does not save local sb3 files, save failed, save interrupted

Scratch Desktop, NO SERVER, no downloading and uploading, just a local project saved locally. I mean, not saved locally at all! Shows a message: “Save filed: <filename> save interrupted”. A days work lost, kid very dissappointed.

My browser / operating system: Windows 7, Firefox 82.0, Flash 32.0 (release 0)

You mean Scratch is not fully compatible with Windows 7? Why does it now warn me while it installs, that it is not going to work? Which version then will?

You may still be able to use older version like 2.0 or 1.4. Scratch Desktop 3 doesn't work the best on Windows 7 and below, but should work on Windows 10.

Thanks, i'll try 2.0. It'd be great though if version 3 would warn users on installation of any incompatibility. Not to mention why on earth would it require Win10 for anything just as simple as saving a file!
