A short Xavier and Yadina story


Yadina was sitting on her bed with her tablet and watching videos about turtles, when suddenly, she got a reminder about her parents, who weren't home until sunday. Yadina turned off her tablet and sat in her bed..


All alone.


While Xavier was cooking some fish from a recipe, Yadina started to cry because she missed her parents, and Xavier went up to Yadina's room to tell her that dinner was ready.


He opened the door and Xavier saw Yadina pricking tears from her eyes and entered the room to comfort her


“Yadina, what's wrong..?”
“Nothing, Xavier..”
“Yadina, Tell me! You know I don't like to see you crying!”
“Fine.. I miss mom and dad..”
“You miss mom and dad? Oh..”
“They'll be back Sunday, Yadina! I promise!!”
“You can't promise me that”
“Yadina, I know from the top to the bottom of my heart that Mom and Dad will be back here!”
“..”
“It's okay. All I gotta say is that Mom and Dad will be back here, and if you need to cry, don't hold it back and just let it out.”


“And if you ever need me to comfort you, I'll always be here..Okay?”
“Okay…”
“OH! I almost forgot, dinner's ready”
“Okay, thank you, Xavier <3”
“No problem, Yadina.”
