I think under the “sign out button” there should be a "switch account button. This would make it easier switching between my main and alt account, and i don't think it can be that hard to implement.

Anyway, I don't see why this would be useful at all. You can just log in to the alt, that doesn't take too much time, in fact, it doesn't take much time at all. So, I don't see the usefulness of this suggestion, besides just saving a couple of seconds.

In my oponion, it would save the time of getting redirected to the front page, and then going to your profile, instead of just switching the accounts and being back where you were just logged in somewhere else

So switching accounts would just keep you on the same page? If I was on my profile and were to switch accounts, would I still be on my profile? I'd still have to leave the page anyways

I have 3 accounts and all of my accounts have long passwords

having multiple accounts isn't really an intended part of scratch, so it would seem weird in my opinion to have an option for something like that, especially in such an important menu.

the current menu includes extremely mission critical actions, (as an educator theres an extra one)


a switch accounts button which is workaroundable doesn't really fit the bill in my opinion…

I have a lot of things I could spend 10 seconds doing, 4 alts = 40 seconds yeah, that isn't lots of wasted time

Is that the thing that the browser puts in the password for you, if yes, that's probably where all the ‘sorry, my sibling got into my account’'s come from

Support, it would speed up changing your account. For example, if you have an account for only animations and an account for other stuff, it would be really useful. Would take 1 or 2 (or 3, depending of the way it would be implemented) clicks and done.

This is an “image” of what it could be. It wouldn't be on the way and it would need only 2 clicks to change account. It is kinda silly though that there would be 2 buttons for accounts. It could be done like you'd need only one click, if it had just like pfps of the users there that you'd click, no dropdown menu or whatever it is.

I couldn't post it on imgur cuz servers full or something like that.

i know, but if i wan't to comment something on my alt account that wouldn't fit my main, or vice versa (my alt is an RP account BTW), I would rather just use switch account, and get to stay on the same page, instead of copying the url, logging out, loggin in with my alt, paste the link, and then comment something.

yes it would be a lot more convenient, especially if your not on the front page, as you wouldn't have to refind/ copy and paste the link log out then log back in.
