this is the project

i am trying to make a python shell project in scratch but i am having trouble
i made a text engine
so basically i made costumes for all letters and i made the flashing line so when you type it considers as a letter and the flashing line moves
this is just an example
the text engine:

when I receive [start v]
if <key [a v] pressed?> then
switch costume to [a v]
stamp
change x by (15)
switch costume to [blank v]
broadcast [next v]
insert [a] at (1 v) of [list v]
wait (0.5) secs
end

and the flashing line(i did the flashing already):

when I receive [ next v]
change x by (15)

it should work so that it writes in the list
but the list is like this:

i write abcd:
(list)
1.d
2.c
3.b
4.a

i want it to be like this:


(list)
1.abcd




so if you help me I would be very thankful

can't help you, but the least I can do is this.

just do

insert [] at (1 v) of [list v]

also, this should be in the help with scripts forum, please post there if you need help with scripts
