it has catblocks and other april fool things, shouldnt it be deleted? or no to satisfy our customers who want cat blocks

No, its actually a github thing where before april fools day the ST were testing out april fools day mechanics

i believe it solely exists these days for users whom need a picture of a catblock.

Why should it be deleted? Most people don't even know about the github test site

It's because GitHub (the website that's used to host Scratch's source code) stores the entire version history of the Scratch editor. It's not just the April Fools version: you could probably find the original release of Scratch 3.0 if you wanted to.

I don't think that is correct, as you can export a .svg version of a cat block by going to the scratchblocks 3.0 on github and then type

HAT BLOCK NAME ::cat

and then export as a .svg

It isn't. It's used as a test for the ST.

I think people dont know how github is used…

You can get the 3.0 beta on GitHub, should that be deleted?

the scratch team simply hasn't removed the branch (/build) because there's no reason to, and people seem to really like cat blocks
