Drop-down menu for projects.

Wouldn't it be nice if you could have some projects in a drop down menu? It could be very useful for Scratchers that are working on certain projects a lot (like a big animation or game). Okay, let me explain.

On the bar on the top of the website (where the buttons that say “Create” “Explore” and “Ideas” and other stuff are, I don't know what it's called.), there should be a button that says, “Projects” (If you have a better name, please say so!). Click on this and a drop-down menu appears, with up to 5 projects. You select the projects that appear yourself on the “My stuff” screen.

When you click on your username, a drop down menu appears, with the options Profile, My stuff, Account Settings, and Sign Out. There should also be up to 5 user-selected projects to click on, and it sends you to the editor of that project. Like this:

Select the projects on the My Stuff screen with a button that says, “Bookmark Project.” You can then remove the bookmarked project with, “Unbookmark Project” Bookmarked projects also appear in a tab saying, “Bookmarked Projects” on the My stuff screen.

what happens if you click on them? Does it send you to the project page? The editor? Nothing?

Thanks, I thought it was pretty annoying that when you want to work on a project and you are on the home page or another project that you have to click “My stuff” then the project, then “See Inside”

I guess the Scratch Team could replace the “About” button. I really don't see the “About” button's use. Or it could be next to the “My Stuff” button.

The about button is actually very important for parents/schools to learn what scratch is and so they let kids make accounts. It seems like a shortcut version of the “My Stuff” so idk if it should be in the top bar. Maybe in the dropdown that comes up when you click on your username.

Oh. I see. I guess the username idea makes sense though.

I think I have a better idea for the mockup:

Instead of having that enormous drop-down menu, you could have a drop-down menu that has the other stuff, but it says “Projects”, and if you hover over the “projects” it'll make a small new dropdown menu just to the right of the old one.
