Scratch Copyright would outright PREVENT stealing (by stealing I mean plagiarizing) of scratch projects and assets. The way it would work is when backpacking a sprite, costume, etc from another scratcher's project, the item would keep data from who made the asset.
If someone uses that asset in their project, under the notes and credits a copyright section would show all the original creators for each object (kinda like the “thanks to _ for making the original project _” when remixing.)
This wouldn't prevent the person for sharing the project, it would just make it so the creators would be credited for their work. I'm pretty sure this doesn't break community guidelines because there is a report reason of “stealing music and art without permission”. This copyright would probably not apply to scripts.
