I think it is still allowed, it's just Looky added a google forms link into the webpage. And because the ST doesn't like Google forms, they entirely blocked it. I'm hoping Scratch Auth will be up soon.

Don't you think it's a bit too much just for a Google Forms link?
But then again, it's the Scratch Team

It was a bit extreme, yes. I honestly think if an ST member had told them to remove the link they would have obliged, and Scratch Auth wouldn't have gone down.

Of course I would have removed it immediately. Even the ST uses Google Forms to get feedback from the community (e.g., see Scratch Lab)! In that form, they even encourage the usage of an unmoderated blue site that Elon Musk is looking to buy!

I think I am going to simply duplicate he project and share it, but without any links to Scratch Auth. After all, the reason why the ST censored Scratch Auth is because I shared links to it on Scratch. What do you think?

Could be. But that’s not asking for private information.

And did the form on Scratch Auth ask for any personal information? No, it did not.

I doubt a ST member would go through and actually check through. I feel like a bot does that.

I don't think they have such bots; the ST probably saw that the banner led to a form and that's it.

I think ST thinks that the Scratch Auth collects private information because I doubt they would actually go through and check.
