Reporting an impersonator?

Dear readers,
As some of you may know, there is an impersonator named Scratchteam ( http://scratch.mit.edu/users/Scratchteam/ ) claiming to be a scratch Moderator/Admin.
My question is, as some of you may have guessed, How should I report him/her?
I don't mean “where is the report button?” but “what should I report him/her for?”.
If you see this post and don't know the answer, please follow it so other people may find it.
Thanks!

Umm… that actually is the Scratch Team. Don't report the account. If that was an impersonator, they would've been banned six years ago.

Scratchteam is an account operated by multiple scratchers and the Scratch Team. Therefore, that account is not an impersonator and should not be reported.

That would be a bad idea to report that user because it is actually the scratch team

Nothing Is EVER 100%, that is just an assumption.

My “..” and “…” are not spelling mistakes, it means that they are ways of telling someone that I can continue more about it and that the sentence isn't ended the best way. I like putting new indents and lines so I can split up what I am talking about.

Why does Scratchteam not have “Scratch Team” status then?

Because the account isn't actually used for moderating. Scratcg Team members use their own accounts for that. Scratchteam is only used for example projects and other things like that.

Only Scratch Team members who are admins have the Scratch Team status, not all Scratch Team members are admins. It is actually a shared account by the Scratch Team, how else would they have a gotten a picture of one of their meetings for this project?

hey bro that's a pretty good meme xD!

Yep! They also own all of the starter projects.

Well, they aren't an impersonator (read my other post here), but to report an impersonator I usually report the username.

The Scratch Team members sometimes go onto the Scratchteam account and remix their own projects so it would be on a shared account. That project was created by the Scratch Team member natalie, and they remixed it on the Scratchteam account so it would be on an account with the other Scratch Team members.

Most users usually choose the username field for reporting impersonators, or the “Contact Us” link (found at the bottom of the Scratch webpage) if the case of impersonation isn't exactly so clear and needs further explanation.

But just to let you know, that account is a real Scratch Team account, we just use it primarily as a dumping ground for starter projects. No case of impersonation here, but we're happy users are keeping an eye out for fake mod/admin accounts that may pop up from time to time.

Sadly, my forum signature was eaten by an evil kumquat.

Why did you suspect it was a Scratch Team impersonator?

Please do not post on old topics such as this one. However, you can report them in contact us or on the project, and explain the situation.

Fun_Cupcake_i81: What, were you expecting not to see the utc - 12 thing again? THE UTC - 12 THIGN ALWAYS RETURNS. ALWAYS.
medians: I knew it would happen. I was the one who started it last year.
Fun_Cupcake_i81: Well then if you didn't want it back maybe you need to time travel to last year and fix that

Oh wait if you could time travel I think we all know exactly when you would go-

user2: But this is medians we're talking about, so “from 2.0” can mean the same thing as “from five seconds ago”.
