What is brony music like? I'm not really a brony myself (though I do like the show) so I'm not really in the know.

I've heard brony music of pretty much every genre, from house to DnB to rock to metalcore to death metal to grindcore, you just gotta look for something you like c: So yeah, it's normal music inspired by, or about ponies.

Ohhh, so by crossover you meant more along the lines of FiM and some other universe running into each other. (eg Master Chief lands in Equestria) Yeah, those are rarely good.

there was that one fanfiction where somehow voltaire was living in the pony world that I heard was really good, but I never really got around to reading it

still though voltaire and pinkie pie would totally be besties you can't deny it

Here's something I'd like to note: The chances of Twilight getting a boyfriend in Equestria Girls is pretty small.

For those of you who haven't seen the trailer yet, there's a boy in there with blue hair that helps Twilight up when she falls down, and there's another quick clip of Twilight hugging him. This does indeed seem suspicious, but there is also evidence against it.

Anyway, for one thing his hair looks a lot like Shining Armor's. His skin color isn't completely white, but the hair's still a notable feature. If he is Shining Armor though, that would mean either he's a high-schooler that's married, or Human Cadance isn't married to him in this universe.
The next thing to point out is that Lauren Faust actually made sure to avoid putting the main characters into romantic situations because it apparently has a very bad effect on girls' shows, and can causes them to lose popularity and therefore get cancelled.
Lastly, even if Twilight's transformed into a human it's unlikely she would fall for another human because she's still a pony biologically (Not to mention she probably isn't going to want to be a human forever). It technically counts as interspecies, and that's difficult to pull off well in fiction since it's very awkward and is often frowned upon. According to a brony from fimfiction.net, Hasbro actually did do something all the way back in G1 where one of the ponies had a mad crush on a human. From what I gather it was a one-sided thing and was only done for laughs (I haven't seen it yet so I can't be positive), but I doubt they would actually do a full pairing of the two.

There's my two bits; maybe we can stem another discussion from it. If not I'm still open for Birthday Game ideas.
