They're a company. Companies are trying to make money and Hasbro is really doing that in a pretty harmless way.
Acting like EqG is a reason to hate Hasbro for is acting like the show is made for you, which it isn't.
(also my personal belief is that it's not really okay to hate anyone for anything but I know most people don't share that @_@)

Frankly, EG can be absolutely terrible and I won't really mind as long as it doesn't have any significant impact on FiM. I think that it will actually be better than expected, though.

That happens when a trademark becomes considered a household name, not when someone makes a derivative work and aren't shut down.

Bronies are the only fandom I know that makes music.

-GatoPaint (metal. recently found out he's Chilean as well :3 ),
-myself (rock and metal. I swear, I'm gonna release stuff sometime soon >.>)

Sadly I haven't been around too much of the epic music of the fandom. I usually read fanfictions (Speaking of which, my Read Later list is now over 140 somehow).

But one brony's music I really liked to listen to was KingSpartax37. He mixes video game songs and songs from the show together. One particularly amazing one is Pinkie Pie's True Smile Remix.

I haven't listened to Bronyfied but I've heard he's good at what he does

My opinions on crossovers are, they should be good, and not " Character swaps (characters from one work are put into another). One half finsihed one was fairly decent, but it was only half finished.

Well, and FoE of course, but that's a hit or miss depending on what sort of fic you're into, I'd say.

As for music, I have the distinct feeling we've discussed this before, but hey - new topic, new things to rehash.

I figure everyone knows guys like Glaze and H8_Seed, so no need to link to them. A few artists that I think deserve more attention:

DerpyCrash - DnB & some other stuff too (link and link)
