I know glorious Java is better than Bedrock in every way imaginable, no exceptions whatsoever. Even though Bedrock has cross-platform play.
But no, Java is superior and the only real version of Minecraft.

Bedrock -THE ONLY VERSION I CAN PLAY- sucks. Servers suck, microtransactions suck, it's a big pile of suck, except for cross-platform play. And the Place-of-Markets-Which-Must-Not-Be-Named, lest an argument occurs, sucks.
Java is the good one.
Bedrock is the little brother who tries but can't cut it, no matter what.
I get it.
But, I can't lie.
It still hurts to hear it.
Java is the Universe of Awesomeness, and Bedrock is Trash Galaxy.
I know that, I know that, I know that, if so many people think Java is better, than that's a fact.
Oh, and if you say,

I will blow up like a volcano because not everyone has the money OR space to get a computer. YES, MY DAD HAS A COMPUTERL AND IT HAS JAVA, BUT IT CAN ONLY BE ACCESSED FROM HIS ACCOUNT AND IM NOT GOING ON MY DAD'S ACCOUNT WITHOUT PERMISSION!!!

Um, not Mojang account. Microsoft account. I have a microsoft account, but the computer uses Windows, and the only way to even access the Java version is to somehow log in to my dad's Microsoft account on the pc, then log into the Mojang account. AND I'd have to figure out the passwords first. I'm not doing all that, especially since I'd have to get used to the control scheme, AND my mom's on her laptop all the time. So for the forseeable future, im stuck on bedrock. Anyway, it's not that bad when you're used to it.

Uh… Did you even read it completely? If you had, you would've seen that I do have a Microsoft account, but Java can only be accessed from my dad's Microsoft account. Anyway, since it probably wasn't clear enough, I don't want to continue talking about it.
just download java on your account you dont have to pay for the launcher jeez

I already said I don't want to keep talking about it. Please stop, I am currently fine on Bedrock, my rant was about how i am sick of the constant noise of “JAVA ROCKS, BEDROCK SUCKS!!!” and im like, i get it, i understand. My rant was NOT me hating bedrock.

Also a big part of the reason for the rant was cuz one of my friends said that “bedrock is the netflix adaptation of minecraft”, which, geez, internet strangers is one thing, but when your own IRL FRIENDS tell you that, knowing FULL WELL bedrocks the only version you can play on, it really hurts. So maybe im not sick of the constant reminder that javas better, i just needed to get it off my chest cuz of being upset that my FRIENDS reminded me in such a casual way. TO MY FACE.

This ended up being way more emotional than i anticipated…

Some Minecraft Servers support bedrock and java, some only support bedrock, some only support java, but,
Honestly, I think both are competent versions of Minecraft. Sure, Bedrock has slightly worse coding, marketplace, but java has a worse recipe book (From what I've seen) and has less compatibility with other players.
But can't we just accept that we have different versions of Minecraft? I mean, some people may have bedrock, but you shouldn't think “Oh, Java is probably better because everyone says so” but I mean, REALLY, what's the difference? I can't tell, really, if both are running with no modifications. Well, I mean, of course I probably notice something (Menus having transitions, slightly different graphics, etc.) but nothing negative to bedrock, in fact, you might be able to play with a lot more people, since the bedrock edition is gaining traction. And, you can just ignore the marketplace, I mean, Minecraft is still really good without any mods.
And sure, Bedrock may have slightly sloppier coding, but that really doesn't make too much of a difference now, if you have at least a decent PC (Or a console)
And, Java allows for more customization.
But, really, the point I'm trying to make is, don't harass people for having the bedrock edition (A lot of people actually have the Bedrock edition, so you might have a better chance at playing with your friend online) and, don't be disappointed that you have the bedrock edition, because, at it's core, it's Minecraft.

Bedrock pretty much has mods. Have you looked on mcpedl.com? I think the reason that the mods are not as drastic as many java ones are because of the stronger modding community on Java. That's probably because of Bedrock's origins as PE and legacy console.

Mine is a phantom block. It is crafted with phantom membrane and holds back water while being completely nonsolid to entities. Could be really useful, and gives a use for phantoms in the early game.

In other words, polished blackstone but without the annoying border around the outside of the block.
