Why won't the bakdrop change when a veriable is at a certain number or less?

It works sometimes but it usually just glitches and keeps on going. Here is one of the failure projects called Platform Scientist remix.

Backdrop looks ok. The bit that is wrong is the check for lives = 0 or lives <0, you need to put a forever loop around that if block.

Yeah, if blocks don't go forever.

Nothing Is EVER 100%, that is just an assumption.
