I'm a little unsure about what you meant on one of your replies on this project. When you say “No, and it's looking like that won't get finished until after we release 2.0.” do you mean the downloadable version won't be out until after 2.0 or just screenshots?

Yeah, it's looking like the standalone editor might not be ready until after the release. However, uploading with Scratch 1.4 will still work, and the editor should get to beta soon. But it'll need some testing before we release it officially.

It's a lot harder to update an application someone has downloaded and installed on their computer than it is to update something that lives in the cloud. So we'll need to make sure the downloadable editor is super clean before making an official release.
