UPDATE! You may recall that some time ago, I acquired a widescreen monitor that I would use with my four computers.

It turns out that the Windows 98 machine does not like the widescreen monitor - it acts up in all sorts of strange, inexplicable ways whenever the monitor is plugged in to it, so I guess I'm going to stick to the old 1280x1024 monitor for that one.
