Two Separate Sections in Show and Tell
Because people don't want to see projects when they go to Show and Tell. They go there to advertise. That seems like a real problem. If there was a dropdown on the Explore page where users could simply click twice to be a menu lush with diverse projects, where even the quality is of all parts of the spectrum, and it isn't hidden like the forum, that would solve this issue. Because they are everywhere! Not just explore, Scratch is like social media, it's everywhere! You will always hear for a popular thing everywhere cause it's popular.
What about broken show and tell piece of * mess? Still, I litterally bump my topic for no reason and I get so freakin' mad!
calm down, let out your anger

When was the last time you went there, clicked on a project you found there, and thoroughly enjoyed it?

A lot of times, I even made friends by giving feedback on those projects!

Exactly 31, because I bookmarked the projects and put it in the folder. (i am very organised)

Wow, can't say I agree or relate because I mostly stay away from the Show and Tell forum like the deep dark forest papa warns you never to go to.How many projects can you remember and/or still go back to? A lot of times, I even made friends by giving feedback on those projects!

But I agree that two separate sections within the Show and Tell forum would be incredibly helpful, and make it way more efficient and (might) turn it into a valuable tool for discovering interesting projects somewhere in the foreseeable future! (:

I would assume that you would regularly and frequently visit them, and I will also assume that you are the very pinnacle of a minority. How many projects can you remember and/or still go back to? A lot of times, I even made friends by giving feedback on those projects!

But there would be a problem that if you would be advertising something else (not Scratch) that ends or has /projects in it, it could accidentally post the topic / post in the Projects Section Forum, not in the Others one.

That's where forum helpers come in and they can report it without saying anything but the bot would be really flawless. It would detect scratch.mit.edu/projects links.

As much as I agree this should be implemented, I think YouTube channels are irrelevant in this particular idea. The Show and Tell forum is merely for advertising your things on Scratch (and even then, it's mixed - I once made a Show and Tell topic linking to my suggestion topics and Paddle closed as forum topics are not projects and studios) and for things outside Scratch, the Things I'm Making and Creating forum exists. Since this is a suggestion for Show and Tell, I think that you shouldn't include YouTube channels in the “Others” section.
Anyways, moving on from that, this would definitely be very helpful - however, before I share my opinion, I have a quick question - if you were to create a topic in Show and Tell, would you just have to make a topic on Show and Tell in general and a bot will make sure everything gets sorted properly, or would users have the ability to manually choose the category?
The latter option seems to have more merit than the first one, and I just wanted to make sure.

The first option, it would have a detector. Obviously, if it had bit.ly or any URL shortener, it would tell you to remove it. If it can't tell what URL shortener it's using, it will move it to others and forum helpers or the ST can help move it. It would use a scratch.mit.edu/projects detector to find out which is which.

YT channels, game codes, users goes here.YouTube channels should be shown in the Things I'm Making & Creating forum not the Show & Tell forum. * Others Section: The studios,
There would be a detector that can detect if it doesn't have /projects in the URL.

Support, the show and tell forum looks messy especially with everyone making topics like YT Test so it goes in the forum video player

I support. Everytime I go into the Show and Tell forums topics like “FOLLOW ME PLZ” and “Funny meme” or something flood out the topics i'm interested in. The whole reason I mostly post in QaS now is because clicking “show new posts” would mostly show Follow Me! Topics instead of actually interesting ones.
