Here is my OS specs: Windows NT 10.0, Chrome 85.0.4183.83
Clearing cache, history, or even reinstalling Chrome doesn't work.

I think this happens because you wrote too much code. Maybe try Firefox?

Download the project and edit offline? You're having so many glitches I think it may have something to do with your connection

I think the only advice I can give to you is “get better computer”.

I know this probably isn't helpful, but save your project, and close chrome. I get the same problem too, and closing and reopening chrome usually works.
If that doesn't work, get Scratch Offline. I think the main problem is usually caused by the first sprite on the online version. I get a less severe glitch that applies only on the first sprite when code is running (the first letter on every block disappears). I'd just avoid running code while the first sprite is selected. This probably won't work though.

Actually I think it may be other tabs open that cause the problem. Not sure though. Maybe close Soundcloud (I think it's open in your screenshot).

i know put all the sprites in the project in backpack and then delete project then clear trash. then put all the sprites from backpack into new project.

I think Edge uses less memory than Chrome (and maybe Firefox as well) and performs slightly better, so try using Edge (make sure you're using the new Chromium-based Edge).

That should be sufficient. Do you experience any problems with other software on your computer?

In addition, when did this all start? Did it happen around the same time as a certain change to your computer, or a Windows update, or something else?
