Q: What is WNOS Magazine?

A: WNOS Magazine is a business here on Scratch, founded by @Honeyruh early in the summer. Our goal is to spread information about the newest information and trends, interview various scratchers about their experiences and provide entertainment, in addition to helpful tips and tricks, to the community!

Q: Why should I join?

A: We still have quite lot of spots open many of our departments, which will be addressed later on. We want to make sure everyone has the opportunity to express and display their talents, which is why we'd be happy to welcome you if you've got what it takes to step out of the shadows and into the light!

Q: What do I gain from working for you?

A: Scratchers will be inclined to check out your column if it interests them, leading them straight to your profile! We also include payment in the form of hearts, faves, follows etc. After all, we need to show our workers just how much we appreciate their tremendous efforts!

Q: Will the work be overbearing?

A: No; we aim to ensure our magazine doesn't majorly interfere with our workers daily lives too much. For this reason, we are currently in the process of creating a system which involves shifts. If worker1 is asked to submit something for WeekA, then worker2 will be asked to submit something for WeekB. This way, employees won't have to submit something for every edition! We all need a break sometimes!

Q: What are the chances of being fired?

A: As things are, the probability that you'd get fired is pretty small! We're quite a dynamic team, and only want the best for everyone who puts effort into working for us! If you can't submit a piece when asked to, simply alert us, and someone else should be able to cover for you! As long as you stay within our rules, as well as the community guidelines, there won't be any reason for us to so much as consider firing you!

Q: What if I need to resign?

A: We understand that life can get in the way of hobbies or jobs on Scratch. So whether you need to leave for personal reasons, or are simply moving on from Scratch as a whole, we're here to support your decision and make sure we properly thank you for anything you may have helped us with!

Directors

This a very important role! Within this magazine, directors have the authority to hire and fire employees as they see fit. They manage and check over the activity and general work of all the other workers! It's a huge responsibility to take on, so make sure you'll be dedicated to do anything the magazine requires you to do!

This position is currently closed to people who already work for WNOS!

Editors

Editors review and check over the magazine, ensuring that there are no mistakes and each column is running smoothly. Whilst they don't have much authority over the other employees, they are definitely the people to look for when we look for different pieces of work to include in each edition!

Writers

Another important role! Writers choose good titles for their columns, and can ask reporters to interview someone if necessary! They piece together various pieces of information to make an informative and interesting column! After all, who doesn't love an incredibly helpful article on how to make a successful series on Scratch? There are six spots open for this position, so grab one whilst it's still there!

Reporters

No magazine would survive for more than ten seconds without their reporters! Here at WNOS Magazine, there isn't an exception! Reporters work with writers to create articles, interviewing scratchers if necessary and gathering information from a range of sources!

Animators

Yes, you read that right! We have animators too! They bring the magazine to life with their creativity and determination to finish a masterpiece that can only be found here at WNOS Magazine! If you would like to apply for this position, bear in mind that there are two spots available, and we will only accept animators with smooth, short and entertaining animations!

Comic Creators

A magazine needs to relieve its audience from all the drama and sudden surges of information they receive, and what better way to do this than with comics? Comic creators work notably less than others, since their work goes into WNOS special editions, rather than regular ones. For this reason, our comic creators need to be top-notch artists! Please only apply for this position if you're not an experienced artist, or only have minimal experience in the subject.

Columnists

Go big or go home! Columnists give their opinion on a certain theme or topic on Scratch (e.g. art, writing, animations, games etc.)! They inform the community of what's new in the minor department of this column they write about, and are allowed to give out tips and tricks, show examples of their own work or others' (with permission) and freely express their views on something! Right now there are five spots available, though this will doubtless increase in the future! But if you want to claim a spot, do so now!

Designers

Every magazine needs its top level artists reader and rearing to bring all sorts or images and concepts to life! We're no different here at WNOS Magazine! Designers create magazine covers, forum thread pictures, frozen intros (intros that are pictures) and so on. They help design the aesthetic and general layouts of the magazine, and play an important role in making sure the magazine runs smoothly! This is a new position, so spots are still open! Grab them whilst you can!

Translators

Wouldn't it be great to have every edition of the magazine translated into your native language so you wouldn't have to spend twenty minutes trying to figure out what a word or phrase means? On top of that, wouldn't it just be awesome for the quality and design of the editions to remain at upmost perfection? Well, translators do exactly that! They take editions of the magazine and translate them into languages the magazine currently doesn't share in! This is a relatively new job, with plenty of available spots, so claim one whilst you can! However, please bear in mind you should only apply for this position if you are fluent in your language of choice. We'd love to reach out to everyone on Scratch through our editions!

Now, let's move onto where our editions will be posted and what to expect from us in the future!

Our official account is @WNOSMagazine which is where we will post all our editions from now on! Expect a seasonal edition with each new season too, with all the new information and experiences we as a community expect and/ or hope to see from Scratch in the upcoming months!

We currently do not have a schedule for uploading new editions, as we're still making observations on what will benefit and be suitable to all our staff, but expect this page to be updated once a schedule has been decided and officially put in place!

Though there will be discussions and checks on editions before posting on the official account, please note that it is not a collaboration account! Only one person has access to it ʕ·ᴥ·ʔ
