So, I have an idea for a new block:

create () clones of [myself v]::control

I understand that there is an easy workaround;

repeat ()
create clone of [myself v]

But a single block would be easier to do and understand.
BTW, this is not rejected, or a dupe (i think…)

The pi block was rejected because it had an easy workaround

it's only one block workaround, and the workaround makes it easier to do cloneids
