Add a copy and paste option to code!
Hi! I have a suggestion! So, you know how on document-writing and/or drawing apps there is a copy and paste feature? On this website, there should be that option for code! When you right click on a script, along with duplicate, delete, and all that other stuff, you can add “copy” and “paste” so when you hit copy, it copies the code, and say when you right click on the code area itself, in say the backdrop or another sprite, it pastes that exact same code! Or, when you right click on a script and hit paste, it replaces the script with the pasted code!

Yeah, this would be easy to implement as the ST already has the duplicate code

You can actually just drag the code over to another sprite (or the background). If you click on the code and drag it over to another sprite, the sprite will turn blue. Then you can release your mouse and then the code will be in the other sprite. Plus, when in a sprite, you can also press Ctrl + C, click onto another sprite, and press Ctrl + V. It copies and pastes the code. You can hold the certain code that you want to copy, press Ctrl + C, then you go to another sprite, Ctrl + V. But, this may be useful for mobile users, however, mobile users can also drag code over. I'll give it a semi-support.

Welp, now that i do, i think this topic might be closed. Thanks for telling me that! But then again, like you said, it can be useful for mobile people. They should add a feature to copy and paste code from scratch wiki. It would probably take forever.

Next time, make a new thread for this question. But anyway, you can right-click on the costume in the costume editor, and press the export button to download it. hey, i was just wondering, how do i copypaste pictures to scratch from another website

oh I was a bit confused for a second because in 2.0, for costumes, the option is “save to local file” and not export.Next time, make a new thread for this question. I mean, there used to be a way to copy and paste scratchblocks code to the backpack (added in July 2016) from the forums. However, it could add invalid blocks so it was removed the month after. They should add a feature to copy and paste code from scratch wiki. It would probably take forever.
