Thread Hijacking is basically writing your own suggestion/question/request/whatever on another person's unrelated topic

I'd say that having copy-paste-able quick-responses isn't really spam as long as the responses themselves are constructive and posted appropriately. Being able to quickly access a good reply to an FAQ instead of having to type it out actually makes things a lot more convenient, personally. Of course, they get spammy if they're unwarranted and repeatedly posted, but that's true of anything.

Regarding mini-modding itself (and as a former mini-modder myself) I'd argue that in some cases mini-modding can be helpful, like in finding duplicates, though I do agree that in cases like necroposting it's not very helpful and with things like thread hijacking and spam it can actually be pretty counterproductive.

It's fine, just a matter of personal preference.

Usually I omit the “Hi!” and just start with whatever the next sentence would be. Other people would probably do things differently.
