I want a sound or even just a small tone to go with that – a bit like if you had an old, 1990s era phone go off and a little *bloop!* sound effect plays with the screen going “1 message received.”

Don't make it obnoxious, but don't make it a single note, you can choose how you want to approach it. I would prefer a two-tone “bul-loop,” so if you could kinda base your sound off that, it would be great.

That would be rather problematic - if the shop has been inactive and it only gets 2 posts per day on average and even those are only by people like me and Geo, then we would have to host an activity check to make sure everybody is active. But that won't be possible as we can only host activity checks every five pages, and we have to host two in a row because the shop is too inactive and we have to deal with it. Just because a topic is on the same page doesn't mean it's the same day.

Hmm…

At the moment, I don't need much help - maybe I'll contact you once I start discussing with our secretary regarding the PR Officer. One thing you could do, however, is clean up the team member section in the Terms and Conditions and maybe split up the terms into different sections like “Taking orders” or “Poll Jumble-related” and post it so I can add it to the Terms and Conditions and update everything.

Something like this:

2 - Working at Longarms Creations

2.1 - Applying

2.1.1 - You should have read all the other Terms and Conditions and not thing alone so you have a basic understanding of what is allowed (what isn't), and how everything works.
2.1.2 - You should answer all of the questions in the application except for the nickname one, which is optional.
2.1.3 - You must be following the discussion - and if you say “no” in your application, you must give proof that you will check this topic at least twice a day.
2.1.4 - You must use the sentence “hippity hoppity this position is now my property” in your application to confirm that you've read all of these terms.

2.2 - Morality

2.2.1 - The rules specified in this post should also be followed strictly.
2.2.2 - You must check the Unclaimed Orders Center everyday to make sure there aren't any orders you can't complete.
2.2.3 - We use strikes at Longarms Creations, you can receive one for breaking these terms or failing to respond to an activity check (see rule 2.4.2).
2.2.3.1 - If you receive a total of four strikes, you will be fired from Longarms Creations.
2.2.4 - You must be friendly to all of our customers and not be harsh to anyone.
2.2.5 - If a customer breaks the Community Guidelines, report the post and kindly point it out but do not start an argument.
2.2.6 - You must check the Terms and Conditions at least once a week to check and make sure you haven't missed out on any new policies (the whole Terms and Conditions page, not just this section).

2.3 - Taking Orders

2.3.1 - You must let the president know if you complete an order.
2.3.2 - Remind customers to fill in the customer survey right after completing orders and letting them know.
2.3.3 - You may not renege on your orders.
2.3.4 - You may ask the manager of your shop to help or complete your order, but nobody else.
2.3.5 - If you don't have any orders to attend to, you can check the Partnerships to see if other shops allow us to complete their orders. If so, try to complete some of them.

2.4 - Activity Checks

2.4.1 - Sometimes, we host things called activity checks to make sure you are active - you can respond to an activity check by posting “active”.
2.4.2 - If you don't respond to an activity check, you get one strike.
2.4.3 - If you are on leave or any other special break from this shop, you will be excused from activity checks.

2.5 - Poll Jumbles

2.5.1 - You must check the Poll Jumble at least once every two days to make sure you've voted on all the new polls and haven't missed out.
2.5.2 - If you cannot vote on Strawpoll for the Poll Jumble, you can always tell your opinions in a forum post and we will count it along.

PREFERRED SERVICES POLL RESULTS
All team members and voters must read entire post.

Hello, team members and customers! Welcome to the results of the second poll of Longarms! I'm sure many of you are still waiting for the PR Officer position which was officially accepted as of last poll's results - me and the secretary are currently discussing changes and the date of when the position should be implemented and it should be added soon enough. We're currently also doing a revamp to the team member Terms and Conditions, so you can expect to see some new terms soon enough. This shop is getting better and better by the minute!

Anyways, I know what everyone is waiting for - the results! Will the preferred services suggestion be implemented… or not? (note - if you are a new team member / random customer and are confused on what this suggestion is, then you can read this post for more info)

Results

77.78% of the people voted that this suggestion should be implemented as it would be convenient for the customers and also know who is good at something and who is OK at it.
22.22% of the people voted that they were unsure what to choose since both options were reasonable.

Oh boy, the results on this one sure are interesting! No negative votes at all - but you know what we do when it comes to people being unsure what to vote. We use a random number generator to determine what the people think! Although it's obvious that this feature is now going to be implemented, it's still unfair not to follow the customs. So let's just see for the fun! “1” is equal to yes and “2” is equal to no.

Oh, wow! Both votes went for “no” and that the suggestion shouldn't be implemented. So that shows that the 22.22% now doesn't want that the suggestion is implemented, which isn't really that great, but it doesn't matter since the suggestion gets implemented anyway. However, there is one more vote we need to count - back when this poll was released, we didn't allow VPN voting, and therefore one of our team members gave an external opinion outside Strawpoll on this suggestion. Let's see what they think!

Well, there's proof! Most of the people have chosen to vote that this suggestion would be really convenient and helpful to have. This shouldn't be too hard to implement - I'll be asking all of the team members what services they're a specialist in what they're not that much of one (please don't say it now if you're a team member - I'll ask you personally when I decide to officially launch this feature into Longarms). There will be a lot of new terms and importance because of this suggestion - make sure to stay tuned and remain on the lookout!

Well, I'll change that so that if a user breaks the terms of this shop very badly, they can contact me, but if they break the terms of Scratch, that's not in my control and that's for the Scratch Team to deal with.
