Lego WeDo with Scratch 2.0 online - not working, but plugin successfully installed
I'm trying to get my Lego WeDo set working with Scratch 2.0.
I've tried on 1.4, and that works fine - I can control the motor happily (and make my car go back and forth at varying speeds :-) ).
I'm trying the 2.0 online version, and I'm not having any success. The browser plugin is installed, the “light” is green (next to the Lego WeDo part of the More Blocks section), but nothing happens when I execute my program. I've tried with a simple “When green flag clicked turn on motor for one second” program, but get nothing.
Can anyone point me at some debugging steps?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Ken
PS Windows 7, Chrome browser

I've been playing around with this a bit more using a USB protocol capture. I'm not very familiar with debugging USB streams, but this particular log coming from the hub back to the computer when I enable the WeDo blocks in the project makes me think that it's connecting properly…:
I see this over and over again, so I'm assuming that we're in some sort of cycle where the plugin doesn't think it's registered correctly, so keeps contacting the hub. Most of the above is gobbledygook to me though, so I don't really know what the problem is.

I had exactly the same issue a while back, turned out I had Firefox already running and then Chrome trying to do it as well.
Close all browsers and then start again, what you are describing works fine for me on both FF and Chrome.
My browser / operating system: Windows 7, Firefox 29.0, Flash 13.0 (release 0)

Thanks for that! It wasn't the exact same problem I hit, but quite similar. The issue was that I'd opened Scratch 1.4, and it seems that even though it was closed down there was still some sort of connection. Once I rebooted my laptop Scratch worked in the browser (and the crocodile bites!).
