Reviving costumes/sprites

Hello to everyone who happened to click on this. First, I'm going to give some context: I've been working on a project for a while now, and I accidentally made a huge mistake. You see, I've created very detailed recreations of character from a cartoon on vector mode, but I accidentally deleted a few of the costumes, and I couldn't control-z them back. Worse still, the project saved just then. Basically I'm in a lot of distress right now to the point I'm crying. So many hours and so much effort have just dissipated into thin air for me.

Because of this, I have a (frankly, very big) favor to ask of the scratch team: the next time you guys update scratch, whether if it's just a minor update or a whole re-design, is it okay if you guys add an option for seeing/restoring history, having the option to make the save thing go off only manually, and being able to control-z costumes back? I just really don't want these incidents where hours upon hours of hard work is lost to occur again. Sorry if I'm being too much, I just wanted to ask, and I don't want this to happen to me or other scratchers again.

There is a restore option in ‘edit’, but I feel your pain.
Support, if it can go multiple times.

Wait, what? I know I've been on here for a couple years already, but there was an “edit” button? It's too late for me now that the project has automatically saved at the worst possible time, but can you please show me where exactly this “edit” is option?
