Abroromantic When someone's romantic attraction is always changing.
Abrosexual When someone's sexual attraction is always changing.
Ally A straight and/or cisgender supporter of LGBTQ+.
Aromantic Having no desire for romantic attraction.
Asexual Having no desire for psychical or sexual attraction.
Assigned gender The gender you are given at birth based on visual differences
Bicurious When a hetrosexual person is intrested in being attracted to the same gender.
Bigender When someone's gender identity contains two genders.
Biromantic When someone is romantically attracted to two or more genders.
Bisexual When someone is sexually attracted to two or more genders.
Boy A gender. Often one who is expected to be tough.
Cisgender When someone's gender matches their assigned gender.
Closeted The state of an LGBTQ+ person who hasn't told people their sexuality/gender.
Coming out When a LGBTQ+ person tells another person their identity.
Demiboy When someone identifies only partly as a boy.
Demigirl When someone identifies only partly as a girl.
Deminonbinary When someone identifies only partly as a non-binary person.
Demiromantic Only having romantic attraction to people who they have strong bong with.
Demisexual Only having sexual attraction to people who they have a strong bond with.
Gay When someone is attracted to someone of the same gender.
Genderfluid When someone's gender is always shifting.
Genderflux When someone experiences ranging intensity in their gender.
Gender dysphoria A feeling that a person has the wrong body; feeling different then your assigned gender
Gender identity A person's sense of being a being a gender (or none).
Gender spectrum The way that the genders are set. Often, girl is on one side and boy is on the other. Some people identify off the spectrum.
Gender stereotypes The idea of assigning traits to different genders, like “boys don't cry” and “sugar and spice and everything nice, that's what girls are made of”
Genderqueer A person who identifies as a mix of genders, none at all, overlapping genders.
Girl A gender. Often one who is expected to be delicate.
Hetroflexible A person who is mainly hetrosexual, but sometimes is attracted to the same gender.
Hetrophobic The act of hating hetrosexuuals, not fear of them.
Hertosexual Being attracted to the opposite gender.
Homoflexible A person who is mainly homosexual, but sometimes is attracted to the opposite gender.
Homophobia The act of hating homosexuals, not fear of them.
Homosexual Being attracted to the same gender.
Intergender When someone's identity is between genders.
Lesbian When a girl is attracted to other girls.
LGBTQ+ An acronym, L=lesbian, G=gay, B=bisexual, T=transgender, Q=queer/questioning, +=other.
Non-binary When someone identifies in the middle or completely of the gender spectrum.
Omniromantic When a person is romantically attracted to all genders, but prefers different genders for different reasons.
Omnisexual When a person is sexually attracted to all genders, but prefers different genders for different reasons.
Pangender When someone's gender covers the whole gender spectrum.
Panromantic When someone is romantically attracted to all genders, no matter the gender.
Pansexual When someone is sexually attracted to all genders no matter the gender.
Polygender When a person identifies as many genders.
Polyromantic When a person is romantically attracted to many genders.
Polysexual When a person is sexually attracted to many genders.
Pride month A celebration, taking place in june, to commemorate the Stonewall riots and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community.
Pronouns A word that can function in a nouns place, different people prefer different pronouns.
Queer An umbrella term for the LGBTQ+ community.
Queerphobic Hatred of the LGBTQ+ community.
Questioning When a person hasn't discovered their sexuality/gender.
Romantic attraction How a person is emotionally attracted to someone; how a person loves someone.
Sexuality How a person is physically attracted to someone. This contains who they hug, kiss, etc.
Stonewall riots The protesting and fights the broke out after the gay bar, the Stonewall inn, was raided by police.
Straight When someone is attracted to the opposite gender (not part of LGBTQ+).
Transgender When a person's gender doesn't match the one they were assigned at birth.
Transphobia The act of hating transgender people, not being afraid of them.

Pronouns guide
Ask people's pronouns when you meet them.
They, them These are the pronouns you should use for someone who you haven't asked yet. They are often used by, non-binary, polygender, pangender, genderfluid, agender, genderflux or genderqueer people
She, her These pronouns are often used on the girl side of the spectrum.
He, her These pronouns are often used on the boy side of the spectrum.
Zie, zir These pronouns aren't as common. They are made up of both she, her and he, him pronouns.
It NEVER use these pronouns unless the person prefers them, or it's an animal.

Questioning your gender? Try using your name and these different pronouns and see which ones fit.
