“Former Scratch Team Member” Ranking
Do we really need the word “member” at the end? Here is some names I came up with feel free to give feedback: -snip-
That is way to long. It even goes onto another line. Could we think of a shorter name?
These are reference words for size
Scrather
New Scratcher
Scratch Team
These are roughly the right size
Ex-Scratch Team Member
Former Scratch Team Member
Past Scratch Team Member
Former Member of the ST
Former ST member
Past Scratch Contributer.
Past ST member
More to be added if anyone can think of any alternatives

I think ex scratch team member seems a bit more like an insult, like how people talk about their ex.

This sounds awesome!
Okay… but please be constructive and explain why!
What about calling it “Retired” instead, just to keep it short enough to fit in forum posts?

Retired: having left one's job and ceased to work. This sounds awesome!

Retired infers it being there last job rather than having moved on to another job. When looking up retired in all definitions it suggests they stopped working

You said because “Retired” is often associated with old people. Also, do we really need to have the word “member” in it? If we removed it, it would be short enough.I explained why I don’t like title in an earlier post, I can’t remember the exact wording but it shouldn’t be too hard to find. This sounds awesome!

Hmm….I'm kind of in-between on this one. It sounds good, but it doesn't really apply to many people. I don't really know. Semi-support, I guess…?

I don't really like just “former scratch team” because it seems more like a group of people, rather than just one single person. You said because “Retired” is often associated with old people. There's isn't a “Scratch Team member” rank, it just says “Scratch Team”. I don't really like just “former scratch team” because it seems more like a group of people, rather than just one single person.

Say Former Scratch Team sounds like the Scratch Team changed names.
Meanwhile you can say Za-Chary - Scratch Team.
I feel the issue here is grammatically you have to end up with a long name or use abreviations to put the exact point across

Another note: It can be confusing seeing ST posts like “I will close the topic” from someone who is just a scratcher, as there is no record of them posting while they were on the ST
