how to type something in your project in a box given. music

Plz help me. I am currently trying to make a game named music studio on scratch. i have already made/put all the chords and notes/sounds in instruments(sprites), now what i want is that the person who operates/makes music with it shall be able to type the sequence of chords in a box (sprite) and the very same sequence is then played. i am doing this type of project as when i make the project people should be able to make music with ease. they can type the notes sequence instead of clicking each instrument.
