Words To Know:
note: I do not speak any Japanese, i just learned these from the series. Feel free to correct me in any way.
Honorifics:

chan: A cute, friendly, honorific, used for friends,
san: A friendly, yet somewhat respectful honorific used for people who you meet up with, but you don't know very well.
kun: Usually heard for school boy, but it can be used to emphasize one's rank at work,
sempai: A respectful honorific for one who is older than you.
kohai: Basically the opposite of sempai.
sensei: Usually heard for a teacher, this honorific is respectful.
sama: Used to honor royalty.

Japanese Words:

Miko: A Shinto shrine maiden.
Mugen: Means “infinity”

So, is the show or manga any good? What can I expect from the series and where can I watch the show if I'm interested?

It's really good, and you can get the anime (original or new) on Hulu, though you need to pay. If you can't pay, it's probably on YouTube somewhere.

I'm on episode 12 of the original series. I enjoy it, the only thing i don't like is that there are too many filler episodes. And all the filler episodes up to now are really predictable

I started watching MHA instead and i think it's better.

By the way, i thought sailor moon was PG….?

The manga is rated 13+, the anime is rated TV-14, even though there is none of “that stuff”.
