Is Scratch Made from people who study in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology University? Since the website is called: Scratch.mit.edu, the MIT part stands for Massachusetts Institute of Technology. So is this true?

Some parts of Scratch are, but for the most parts, it's made by the Scratch Team in Scratch Foundation.

At the bottom of the front page it says:
'Scratch is available for free thanks to generous support from our donors. We are grateful to our Founding Partners:
Massachusetts Institute of Technology, National Science Foundation, and Siegel Family Endowment.'

And in the ‘about’ page:
'Scratch is a project of the Lifelong Kindergarten Group at the MIT Media Lab. '

The Scratch team is based at MIT. It is not made FOR students at MIT, it was made for everyone who wants to learn to code.

They were asking if it was made BY students at MIT.

So basically, it was made by a lot of people, some of which include the students and staff at MIT.
