What is this?
Well, this is a programme similar to Buzzy Bee Bootcamp, which is what inspired me to to this! Every few weeks, we will be hosting sessions that will help scratchers who want to start up shops be confident and have the know-how on how to run your own shop!

For Mentors
1. Respect all campers
2. Don’t hire anyone as a mentor/camper without my permission.
3. Don’t post in any one of the campers’ shops (unless they give you permission to) as it can ruin the look of the shop.
4. Try to be active every day
5. Follow the schedule
6. You must be a scratcher and you must have some experience in being BoD in a shop.
7. We want people in different time zones (or the same time zones as the campers) but it’s not mandatory.

For Campers

Day 1: Introduction: Telling you the basics. Task: look around the ‘Requests’ section and check out some shops (at least 3) and make a post here with notes on some features they have (E.g. Currencies, Partnerships)
Day 2: Look at the titles of some of the popular shops. What strategies do they use? Make notes on this topic. Start to think of ideas for names and titles of your shop (E.g. Butterfly Shop!) Post them on this topic.
Day 3: Create your topic for your shop. You can put W.I.P. And/or closed in the title. What services can you offer? Will you hire staff? What will your banner look like? We will teach you about BBCode if you don’t know how to use it. Post a link to your shop topic in this topic. Your mentor will give you feedback (if your mentor isn’t available someone else/I will do it)
Day 4: Catch Up! Talk to other campers and mentors about your ideas and developments. If you haven’t done any of the above, get that done. You may not want to make your own banner, you may want to order them. You could order them from the Oreo Shop (found in my signature) or from the Buzzy Bee Shop (they are amazing!) You could get them from elsewhere though. If there’s anything else you think you should do, ask a mentor.
Day 5: Take the mentor’s feedback into account (if you haven’t already) and decide whether you want your shop to join any partnerships, federations or currencies.
Day 6: Tomorrow is your shop’s launch day! Make sure your shop is in top condition and ready to start hiring (if you want to hire staff) and taking orders! Put some rules in place! Mentors will also give you practice orders (A good one and a bad one, they will follow your form) and practice staff applications (a good one and a bad one, they will follow your form)
Day 7: Today is your launch day! Mentors will check in with you and your shop to see if anything needs editing. Once confirmed by a mentor, you are ready to open! Change your title to not have W.I.P. in or closed, and write the title that you planned.
Week After: Mentors will check in with your shop to see how you’re doing. Make sure to keep ‘bumping’ your shop and most importantly, don’t give up! Staff applications will start coming in soon! Don’t be afraid to reject orders or applications if they’re not to your standard.
