Bitmap Fill Tool Makes "Holes" on Brave Browser
Hello, whenever I try to use the fill tool, for some reason, it adds a bunch of “holes,” or random pixels that are transparent. This only happens on the bitmap editor with Brave, and this doesn't happen on Chrome or Firefox.
This is what it looks like:
It might be hard to see, but there are tiny holes there
My browser / operating system: Windows NT 10.0, Brave 1.8.96, Chromium 81.0.4044.138, No Flash version detected

After you've used the fill tool in Brave, and then view the filled-in area on another browser, does it show the holes? I probably can't help you fix your issue, but I can help narrow it down for the folks who can.

Blame Brave. Use Firefox if you are concerned about privacy issues:
1) Brave is not a recommended browser for Scratch, so any bug that happens on Brave won't be supported.
2) Brave has some strict “anti-fingerprinting restrictions”, including adding some randomness to canvas rendering. This is to prevent scripts from identifying the browser's configurations by using the canvas rendering results, but this also affects the paint editor.

To get the most out of Firefox privacy-wise, enable DNS over HTTPS, and install the extensions “HTTPS Everwhere” and “uBlock Origin” and you have the best privacy you'll get without breaking sites. Blame Brave. Use Firefox if you are concerned about privacy issues.

Yeah, I just like using Brave because you're still able to support creators with BAT even if you have ad block off, and I'm also just used to chromium.

I liked Brave browser and used it actively for a while, got a good amount of money out of them too, but their protections are overzealous and overtime I found more and more things that were broken in Brave, and dropping shields to be able to use sites I use a lot pretty much defeats the purpose of a privacy browser. To get the most out of Firefox privacy-wise, enable DNS over HTTPS, and install the extensions “HTTPS Everwhere” and “uBlock Origin” and you have the best privacy you'll get without breaking sites. Nope, it's a Brave problem. Brave messes up websites, so I would recommend only using the officially supported browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge). I figured out a solution. Turn your adblock off for Scratch.
