Hello! My name is Trophy and I am the developer of a new game on Scratch called Scratch Wizard!

Some History On The Game
The game used to be very different to what I am developing today, it was originally going to be a basic platformer with enemies and boss fights. The original story may still remain in the new game, though. You can play some of the old projects that I had today to see what it was like! After putting the original project in an SDS it immediately gained some attention. The project lies today with over 500 views! I am so grateful for this!

Where it is today
After working on the project some more I decided that a simple platformer was just to generic and boring, and I wanted to do something different that would stand out! Therefore I decided to plan some new mechanics. These new mechanics may look similar to Pokemon at first glance, but there are some major differences!

For staters, you don't have different moves, only one move, which you can swap and change out. Hopefully I can make it so you can level up each move too depending on how much you use it! You can charge up the move for a certain amount of seconds, this is your charge amount! After three seconds, your AttackDamage will be increased by the charge amount. Then you can use the attack at any time, which will do damage depending on your AttackDamage amount! The enemy will be doing this too, but you can't see their charge amount (It will be determined randomly). You will also be able to do this with defence to raise your health amount! Also, unlike Pokemon, there is no time to determine your turn, you have to be quick and clever, as the enemy will fight at any time!

What you can do to help development
If you are excited for this game, show it! Support really makes me want to keep going and any I can get would make me super happy and motivated! To show this you could suggest ideas for the story (which is said below), spells and more! You could also create fan art and remix the projects with ideas, bug fixes and better code! Anything I've mentioned or anything you can think of will help this game become a reality! The Story
The Story of Scratch Wizard follows Scratch Cat and Gobo, after they find out that one day, their friends were being corrupted! After attacking a corrupted being to try and remove the corruption, it drops a wand, which Scratch picks up and becomes the Scratch Wizard! He then realises he can do magic and that he can use it to defeat the threat and save his friends! Will he end the corruption forever? Find out in Scratch Wizard!
