Finally, now that we have a small team, it's time to start working! The first thing we need is a short logo and a long logo, but we'll work on that after we get some more designers and artists. So for now, let's get started on advertisements! Here's what we'll do:

1. Get some ideas about the kind of ad (project ad? signature banner? other?)
2. Plan it out
3. Design it/ make the project

Currently, we have enough people for all of this, but we will all need to work together. So let's get started! I'm thinking that a signature banner would be nice. We haven't started on the actual OS yet, so we can advertise about the OS, and hopefully people will see it and would want to join in (I don't know about the rest of the team, but I'l definitely put the banner in my signature if we decide upon a banner). This is our first assignment! What does the rest of the team think? Does @An_Alien_In_Disguise have any ideas? How should we advertise, @SockedMonster? Anything in mind, @ocross-tcsb? This will take some time, of course, since we all live in different time zones, but it's the effort that counts!

Of course, if anybody else in the collab has a design to submit, or ideas, or subtitle suggestion, they can speak up. If you don't agree with anything that's been decided about this, then it's totally okay to express your opinions! If you have another idea or suggestion or design, then we'll vote to decide!

I wanted to make a good OS or be part of an OS. The first OS I made was Windows 20, which was AWFUL. I am a somewhat experienced coder, and I'm pretty decent in animating.

Why do you want the job? I’ve loved advertising for a long while now (sounds weird, I know). It’s a fun medium to explore, and to explore that with a project like GalacticaOS would be great!

Not necessarily, I have worked as an advertiser on various collabs prior, but most of them crashed and burned before they could be considered even 15% done, which isn’t exactly the point in a products lifecycle when you can advertise it with confidence you can deliver a finished product.
Can you give a brief description of yourself?: Well, I live in the U.K. and dabble in standup comedy and acting. So far it’s been local productions or comedy clubs. I also love retro games and collecting said games.

That's a nice idea! But the challenge will be to make the star look good - some stars look horrible. But this page has some nice stars, it might help us decide.

I like that! But we'll need to think about the subtitle. The title is obvious, but the subtitle should be able to make people excited about the OS. Like, REALLY excited. I have an idea too, but it's probably good for an ad when we're almost done with evrything: ‘You’ll only know what was missing in Operating Systems after you see GalacticaOS' I know, not that good, but still. And by the way, it means that GalacticaOS will have something most OSs don't.
