What is this?

• This is a competition to make a banner that shows off you culture/country/language
  

How can I enter?

• You can now enter! you can apply here here (we are closed now)
  

When can I enter?

• Entries are closed! (17th June 2020)
  

How will I know if you've seen it or not?

• First, when you do your entry, please send the application in this forum and put your project in this studio.
  

• If you have put a link to a website in the forum, please can you also make a scratch project in the studio with the link in it and/or uploading the banner to the project.
  

• Then one of the judges will give you a piece of positive feedback then something to improve.
  

Do I have to be good at it or have any experience?

• No! Just have fun and have a go!
  

What can I use to make these banners?

• You do not have to have a special app, you can just use the scratch editor, but I would recommend to use one of these websites:
  

• Canva: This website is free to use their basic package and all you need to do is create an account.
  

• Logo Makr.com: This website is completely free + you don't need an account!
  

Do I need ‘CubeUpload?’

• For those who don't know, Cubeupload.com is a site which lets you upload images with a link, which works in the forums.
  

• You don't need to have it, unless you don't want to put your banner in a scratch project.
  

• I would suggest you to have it or any other image uploading site, as it means your banners won't get pixelated if you put it in a scratch project.
  

How will it be judged?

• One of the judges will rate your banner out of 10 (all scores are between the judges not to be shared with anyone else)
  

• Then, us judges will pick the first, second & third out of the top 10 entries.

General Rules:

• First of all, please be kind and nice to everyone!
  
• You must include the numbers ‘7 & 2’ in any application somewhere - be creative - if you don't it wont be qualified.
  
• No copying allowed, you can get inspiration from other people but no plain copying.
  
• Don't get upset if you don't win - not everyone can win and it's not the judges fault.
  

Banner Rules:

• Your banner must reflect your country/culture/language.
  
• Please give a description of why you chose the colours/element/pictures etc. in the application when it tells you to.
  
• The heading of your banner must be your username.
  
• Other than that, have fun and be creative!

Why should you be a judge?: I am a fair and honest person, and I know how to judge both sides, judging by something that follows the guidelines, yet it also is a really good banner that I know someone worked hard on. 7
Will you be fair and honest?: Yes, I always am. I have studied debate a number of times, and have learned how to look on both sides, and judge fairly and honestly.
