Ideas for my game: ZOMBIE ASSAULT
Hello everyone,
I am looking for people to give feedback on my game.
By this, I mean I want suggestions for features, weapons, options, visuals, etc… but also what things need to be improved.
You can be as harsh as you want but please make it constructive.
You can find the game here: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/370135952/

The game is very expandable and so I am in need of ideas for updates, thank you in advance.
I hope you choose to check it out:

You might want to tone down the blood and gore, or put a disclaimer in the description that it's a more mature game.

Ideas for my game: ZOMBIE ASSAULT
Something I've just picked up on while developing my own game — moving diagonally makes the player move faster than in the cardinal directions. This enables the player to easily break away from the zombies' pull effects.
I edited the w input movement to the following:
It checks for diagonal movement and reduces the velocity so that, combined with the velocity of the other pressed input, allows the player to move with a uniform speed in all directions. Copy this for the other inputs and change accordingly, of course. I used the Pythagorean theorem to calculate what the reduced speed should be.
Other suggestions:
Just my two cents. I hope I can contribute to this incredible game! Sorry for the weird formatting, I'm not used to making posts yet
I edited the w input movement to the following:
change [ PlayerY] by (((-1) + (<<key [a] pressed?> or <key [d] pressed?>> * ((1) - ([sqrt v] of (0.5))))) * ((LoadSize / (400)))
- Add a sound effect when injured
Add a zombie variation that pauses, locks on to where the player was when it paused and leaps to that point
Add a zombie variation that can move faster than normal zombies, but can also be slowed when shot
Just my two cents. I hope I can contribute to this incredible game! Sorry for the weird formatting, I'm not used to making posts yet
