Talk to projects!
I have a suggestion where you can use your microphone to talk with your projects! The block colors will be either brown or white
The word said block will be true when the project hears the word you said otherwise false.
The turn off microphone block will disable your project from hearing your words
EXAMPLE:
The word said block will be true when the project hears the word you said otherwise false.
<[] said?>The turn on microphone will allow the project to hear your words
The turn off microphone block will disable your project from hearing your words
turn [on v] microphone
turn [off v] microphone
EXAMPLE:
when green flag clicked
forever
if <[Hello] said?> then
say [Hello!] for (2) secs
end

Support! I have lots of projects where speech recognition would be perfect. However I think there should be a warning like the username one saying ‘This project uses your microphone. If you’re not okay with this, select No. If you are, select Yes.' with Y/N buttons underneath.

Support! I think that it should be an extension like: Microphone, or Speech Recognition.
This may be too advanced for new users though.
Here are some block ideas for this: (Understandment% would be a way of making so that if the target word was “Cheese” then it might accept the word “Tease” or something like that

We already have this kind of thing, but you can only access that feature by using a certain extension, and that extension only seems to show up under certain circumstances, like visiting a certain website.

A Speech Recognition extension was listed as “coming soon” in Scratch 3.0 Beta, but they removed it for some reason… I'm not sure what the status is of it right now, but last I've heard it is still in development! ^^

I have made a ScratchX extension for that! Also, a sample project for the people who want.
You don't have the

<(spoken :: extension) = [The text you want]>

Hi @RedYoshiNation,
Good that you are suggesting stuff but it seems like this topic is a duplicate! A duplicate is when a topic is the same as an existing one, and when there are two like these in the “Suggestions” forum, the new one needs to get closed so there aren't topics cluttered all over the place discussing the same thing. Sometimes though, the new topic has a lot of details and discussion and it gets merged with the old one. But don't worry, you won't be banned or anything - everyone can make mistakes!
From now on though, make sure to search any duplicates here before suggesting stuff!
Please continue the discussion here: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/235162/
I will report this topic to be closed.

The 3.0 extension is still available here (click the extension button and choose Speech to Text). Unfortunately projects using this extension currently can't be shared on the Scratch website.yeah. also, the extension does not seem to work, sadly
.EDIT: when i tried loading a sb3 file on the normal scratch project editor with the speech to text extension loaded, the whole project didn't load at all and i was stuck on the loading screen

What about just a reporter for what has been said in the microphone, that would be enough right?
