Why? Why can't people be allowed to have mention users in projects? That's a bad rule. What if it's some one's birthday, or like how -SkyStar- got banned, thanking someone. It's not nice to be banned for something that weird. I think that the rule should be changed, don't you? I think it should be if the name is ment for something mean. That the project should be checked before the persn who shared it is banned to make sure if it's meant to be mean or something.

I think it's pretty simple. If a popular person with many followers posts usernames of individuals who are doing them wrong, a good amount of the followers will start to respond to said wrongdoers with hate. And then the vicious cycle perpetuates.

Issues like these should be formally addressed with proper Scratch authorities in order to prevent a snowballing social fiasco from occurring.

Just my two cents.

Its not ok for people to make projects that use specific usernames in a negative fashion. That can attract negative attention and is known as naming and shaming, which is disrespectful. So thats why we have that rule. An as always, if a scratcher is having problems with another scratcher, or if he/she has an issue with a ban, the best thing for him/her to do is to contact the Scratch Team about the issue.
