Updates:
Section 1: V 0.9.6 - V 0.9.9
V 0.9.6 - This update features the functionality of the settings button (it is glitched, but functional). It also fixes multiple bugs involved with the shop and boss battles. Other minor code tweaks were also added.
V 0.9.7 - This update features fixes of the settings glitches and the page is fully functional. A volume setting has been added. Fixed a visual glitch where the shop, back, save, and settings buttons would appear at the wrong time. Other minor improvements have been added.
V 0.9.8 - This update features a complete project cleanup. Every sprite was properly named and all scripts were organized. This has been done to avoid further bugs and issues. There have also been 3 buttons added in the settings page. Only one button has a use so far and that is “cheats”. A rating system was also added. A thumbnail was also added as part of the cleanup. It will most likely be altered slightly in the near future. I have removed as much coding as possible to make the game less laggy and be able to load faster. Also, the tag “game” was changed to “games”.
V 0.9.9 - This update has taken forever, but it is finally here! In this update, the “SAVE/LOAD” button was moved to the settings area. The cheats have also been added and another button named “ACHIEVEMENTS” was added. Some scripts received small changes for optimization, improvements, lag prevention, etc.
Section 2: V 1.0.0 - V 1.0.9
V 1.0.0 (12/6/2018) - This is the long awaited official release! Achievements have been added, glitches have been removed, lag has been reduced, save codes have been optimized, Christmas skins are on their way, what more could you ask for? Thanks for all the support to get this game to where it is today!
V 1.0.1 (12/7/2018) - New enemy - Archer!

V 1.0.3 (12/27/2018) - This update features a new map button. It is currently non-functional, but it is a sneak-peak of a new way to play Dungeoneer! I also removed a few unnecessary bits of code to optimize performance.
V 1.0.4 (1/5/2019) - With the introduction of Scratch 3.0, I have redone some of the scripting, sound, and the instructions layout. The scripting and sound changes are unnoticeable though. I have also started work on cycling out the old Dungeoneer to bring in the new one (it could take several months). The new Dungeoneer will feature everything seen in the current one integrated into a story mode with online play!
V 1.0.5 (12/7/2019) - Bug Fixes and adjustment to archer design. Added new music.
V 1.0.6 (12/7/2019) - Changes with this update include a new settings button design, decreased load times, a new shield design, sped up transition by times, and other minor graphical improvements.
V 1.0.7 (12/8/2019) - Major bug fixes: fixed enemies doing nothing, fixed bosses (needs rebalancing), removed unnecessary code, made transition more consistent + fixed some bugs related to the fade transition.
V 1.0.8 (12/8/2019) - Bug fixes, decreased project load time, removed unnecessary code, cleaned up EVERYTHING to prevent future bugs, other minor changes
V 1.0.9 (12/10/2019) - Bug fixes, boss balance: decreased heal amount, more bug fixes, prepare for revamped shop update
Section 3: V 1.1.0 - V 1.1.9
V 1.1.0 (12/14/2019) - Fixed enemy AI to speed up the battle. Fixed a bug regarding immediately losing. Began work on the revamped shop: created a new icon/button for a new special “attack” where you can resurrect a dead character. Other minor optimizations.
V 1.1.1 (12/16/2019) - Added two new buttons for special attacks: Freeze and Poison. Minor optimizations.
V 1.1.2 (12/17/2019) - Added the rest of the special attacks and art for them. Graphical changes to the archer. The special “attacks” include: Resurrect (revive a dead character), Poison (do damage over time to an enemy), Freeze (freeze 2 random enemies for 1 turn each and they unfreeze instead of attacking), Confuse (make an enemy attack another enemy on its next turn), Team Heal (heal every character on your team), Bomb (do damage to each enemy), Shield (use a strong shield which has 3 hit-points and allows you to attack/heal while using it), Summon (summon a mini version of yourself to help you in battle), Health Extension (get 2 more hit-points on your max health), Money (get extra gold when killing a monster). All of these will come with some sort of animation or visual to make them cooler and they will be able to be purchased in the shop for gold.
V 1.1.3 (12/23/2019) - This update includes the revamped saving system thanks to @RokCoder's save/load engine. It needs a couple of changes and additions before it's complete, but now it has a much better save/load system which cannot corrupt your data. The shield icon in the shop has been graphically improved. Added a price system in the shop which is very efficient.
V 1.1.4 (12/23/2019) - Fixed transitioning problems (still need to check leaving a game). Fixed save/load bugs, fixed not signed in user saving bug. Fixed bugs with the shop and settings page.
V 1.1.5 (12/23/2019) - Huge optimizations, removed achievements and cheats temporarily for improvements. Lag reductions and bug fixes. New enemy - Ninja.
V 1.1.6 (12/24/2019) - Hotfix for coin counter visual bug, graphical changes to the Ninja.
V 1.1.7 (12/28/2019) - Major optimizations including making monster health bars into clones rather than individual sprites and cleaning up messy variables. Changed the thumbnail to show when the stop sign is clicked. Other minor bug fixes and changes.
V 1.1.8 (1/2/2020) - Changed the second volume button to be a clone for optimization. Minor bug fixes. Improved audio when entering and exiting a boss game. Added some text that tells you the save code was loaded successfully.
V 1.1.9 (1/2/2020) - Added the ability to purchase special attacks including the saving/loading for them (special attacks can't be used yet though). Bug fixes, optimized player health bar code, made the volume display clickable to mute or max volume instantly.

V 1.2.0 (1/4/2020) - Major optimizations to in-game buttons. Groundwork complete for special attacks (now they just need to be individually programmed). Sound improvements. Removal of unnecessary code. Other optimizations.

V 1.2.2 (1/25/2020) - Converted monsters into clones rather than separate sprites. Changed the settings button again.
V 1.2.3 (1/25/2020) - Hotfix for monster health bug introduced in the last update. This lead to optimization of the monster health bars.
V 1.2.4 (1/28/2020) - Changed save code to not rely on username for kongregate friendliness. Added the ability to send a character back and choose a different one.
V 1.2.5 (2/25/2020) - Added a new special attack menu. Fixed a minor bug that could cause improper layering. Added S as an actual hotkey for special attacks.
V 1.2.6 (2/25/2020) - Fixed a layering bug with the shield and the special attack menu. Fixed multiple bugs that would allow for interaction while the special attack menu was up. Finished preparing for special attacks (they are now ready to be created at will and will probably be rolled out throughout 1.2.7-1.3.0).
