My son is now in elementary school, he is now learning Scratch and looks quite interested in it. I thought it'll be good for him to have sample codes. There are tons of sample codes for Scratch v2, but it has to be online to access it, and our internet connection is very poor. So it'll be a lot easier for him to learn if he has the code for Scratch v1
