Incorrect post count

So currently I have around this many posts on the Scratch forums:

But my post count says I have 1000+ posts.

Is there an explanation for this? I don't have one.

My browser / operating system: ChromeOS 12499.66.0, Chrome 78.0.3904.106, No Flash version detected

EDIT: Thanks to CatsUnited for the possible explanation.

because it rounds the amount, i think. so that's normal

Huh. I thought it only incremented when you reached the post count.
But if it rounded, wouldn't I have 1000+ posts when I got over 600?

If you solution was correct, then technically it would say ‘1000+ posts’ if you posted 500 or over, which it doesn't.
I think this is the rounding method:
- 1 to 100 posts: shows exact emount
- 100 to approx 900 posts: shows ‘100+ posts’
- approx 900+ posts: shows ‘1000+ posts’

I may be wrong…

Edit - Just seen one with 500+ posts.

No, I didn't get the 1000+ post count until I got more than 938 posts.
If it does round at 938 posts, that's oddly specific.

Here is the cubeupload img embed code like you wanted

(it has nothing to do with the glitch but still)

Unless it is some kind of glitch or problem?

The post counter on the page that you showed an image of doesn't count deleted posts, while the post counter you see on all your forum posts does count deleted posts.

I don't think a significant number of my posts were deleted. I would probably remember if I had 60 of my posts deleted.

Woops- this is in BaGs and I reported it to be closed… Im done.
The post count will round up if your close enough (don't quote me on that.) There are still dustbinned topics that also add to your count but aren't visible on the regular scratch website.

Then again, you probably won't, you wouldn't know which posts were deleted nor why. You won't get an alert if a post you made got dustbinned.

so can this be closed now thats its confirmed to not be a bug?
