what is the ages that 'mit scrath' is for? very difficult so far

im having lots of difficulties and hardship with this thing

  • and learning is very slow so far

lots of things that are important to know, i cant find the info anywhere

and you basically have to have ppl tell you, and taht's not really learning, that's just ppl that already know what is important to know and they tell you what is helpful for you to know

because the info is not anywhere

1. what is the lowest age ‘mit scrath’ is for?
2. what is the highest upper bound age ‘mit scrath’ is for

cos it's very difficult so far

what is the ages this is for?

see https://www.quora.com/What-is-the-best-tool-to-teach-kids-about-coding-both-mobile-app-coding-and-computer-programming/answer/Travis-Casey-4

i think that **maybe** the brain does not have enough smarts for this ‘mit scrath’ thing yet
or that **maybe** the brain grows in a way that does not correspond to however this ‘mit scrath’ thing is meant for

or maybe it is just that there is a severe lack of imporatnt + helpful info (to learning) this thing

Scratch is meant for all ages, however i believe the suggested minimum age is 8. If you have issues figuring out how the site works, post in the forums (keep relevant!) and check the Scratch Wiki for helpful info.

Moved accounts.

Use the tutorials.

I am officially reopening my account. I decided this is the best way to go.

The best way to learn Scratch is by experimenting. Try a lot of things (and look at others' code), and you'll soon learn a lot of things. I've been using Scratch for more than 2 years (but I've decided to create an account only less than a year ago), and you can look at the progress I made.

Regarding your question, read -I-Am-Evil-Homer-'s post above.

The message above may contain wrong information, rude remarks, or something embarrassing to my current self. In this case, please ignore it and remember that I likely wrote it back when I didn't know what “respect” truly meant. I really hate thinking about it again.

Scratch (and Python, Java, Ruby, Redstone CSS and HTML, as well as every other language,) are about experimenting and seeing what will happen.
I have been doing nothing but that for as long as I have been on scratch, and you can see how far I have come.
Scratch is meant to be designed for 8-16, iirc. If you are younger than 8, it is suggested you try Scratch Jr, an app also made by MIT, available for Android and iOS, for 4-8. If you are older than 16, I suggest Python, an easy-to-learn language, notable for the easy readability of their programming language.
However, if you are 8-16, you can use Scratch, but if you find it a bit difficult, you can always go back to Scratch Jr., or use pseudo-coding where you think a bit like
if this, then (do this :: stack motion).

I mean, these guidelines aren't set in stone. You can always transition to text based programming languages early, or stay with Scratch until you're 24.

Infrequently active.

It feels weird to see how far we've come. I hope you're well, wherever you are!
