A "Subscribe" button along with the Follow button

I find that a follow button is really useful for being invited to studios and being able to interact with the person you followed, but there's no way to find out if they posted a new project.

That's where this subscribe button would come in. it's a sort of secondary follow button, and is found underneath the original one. When this subscribe button is pressed, you will be notified every time the scratcher posts a new project. You can also subscribe but not follow if you want to see their projects, but not get invited to studios.

IMHO I think that this is a really simple idea that should be implemented, even if it has a different setup and whatnot. I just feel like seeing when my friends and/or other people I'm following post is a really big hassle right now, since I have to go through their profile and check the posted projects section every day.

Edit: It could also be called “Notify Me” instead of subscribe if you don't want it to be close to youtube's subscribe button.
Edit 2: If you don't want to add another button next to the follow button, then change the follow button so that once you click it, there's a small drop down that says

“Notify of
x Studio Invites
x Projects”

that way if you want studio invites, you can, and if you only want project updates, you can also do that.

Duplicate.
Another duplicate (newer).

The message above may contain wrong information, rude remarks, or something embarrassing to my current self. In this case, please ignore it and remember that I likely wrote it back when I didn't know what “respect” truly meant. I really hate thinking about it again.

If you go to scratch's main page, it shows what the people you are following have done recently

I think they mean get a notification, because the scratch main page only shows the latest five, so if six people who you're following post at once, you won't get to see one of the projects. I know this is unrealistic, but you know what I mean.

Yes, I meant getting notifications specifically.
