All Things Running - Cross Country, Track & Field and More!
Heyo!
I'm a pretty big runner, and I wanted to make this topic to talk with like-minded people. This can be for chatting about all things running! That includes, talking about interesting courses, discussing run lengths, sharing what you like to run/participate in (for field) and more!
Some stuff about me:
I run High School Varsity Cross Country and Junior Varsity Track & Field (trying to get varsity for this upcoming spring). I'm stronger at cross country, and typically race in meets ranging from 2.5-5 miles. For runs during practice, we typically do 8-14 miles. Workouts, we normally do six or so 1000s and then six 200s with a 3.5 mile cool down.
For track, I like the 3000 and the 1500. I tried pole vaulting just for the fun of it, but I'm not great.
I'd definitely love to hear how this compares/differs with what all of you do!
Also, if anyone has questions about running XC and T&F, I'd be more than happy to answer them! It's a fantastic sport to get into as it improves your skills in practically every other sport (that involves running).

me runningA very nice Rick Rolling attempt, but unfortunately, as the founder of the Rick Roll Army, I recognize that link. Perhaps consider joining the studio.

Anyway, please try to keep threads on topic (this would be about running). Thanks!
