Scratch Statistics Improvement: Scratch Block Usage
So, way back when, there used to be a chart in the Scratch Statistics that showed how much each block was used. I'm talking about this thing:
Why did they remove it? It seems like a nice addition to bring it back.
Please post your thoughts. :3

My guess is that it didn't really add any benefits to Scratch.

The old one required Flash IIRC, and making a new one that also supports 3.0 projects isn't a high priority at the moment.

Bumping this as a result of a recent question I asked. The guesses around the removal of block usage seem to be mostly that it wasn't needed, but I also don't think it did much damage. I think it helped show the accessibility of each block to project creators, potentially helping with tutorial projects (ensuring using blocks that most people use and thus most people understand).

support, I would really want to see them. Are there any third party sites around that show this? Tell me on my profile if there is.

Welcome to the forums! This is the suggestions forum, here people suggest things. You seem to have somehow found a very old topic and posted in it without any contribution to the conversation. This is called necroposting(info in the link). What you did is also called blockspamming, which is when you post those blocks unnecessarily. This forum is somewhat serious, here we discuss suggestions and whether they should be added or not, so please try not to post these things.move () steps

Support. The reason why is that other people can give thoughts on different blocks like “I don't really like using the MaKey MaKey extension but besides using it as cheat codes.” And, If a user makes a video on the most used or useless blocks, it'll appear there.

Please do not BlockSpam. It is generally considered off topic for most places in the forums.when I start as a cloneTry this

Also, support. If someone sees that a block is not used often, they may be inclined to try new ways to use it in projects, expanding creativity.
