i am a new user and i have so many questions to ask!
for example how do you insert an profile picture? it says that my
picture has too many GB! please help me!

That means that your profile picture file size is too large. If you want to be able to upload your profile image of choice onto the website, you will have to make the file size smaller - the restrictions are that the file can't be larger than 512 KB and that the resolution (size) of the image has to be 500x500 or less (source).

but all my pics are too large then!

Do you have any software that you could use to either make your profile picture smaller in dimensions or a tool to compress it so it takes up less space?

An easy way to resize a picture in Scratch is to…

1. Import the picture and make sure the costume is set to vector
   
2. Shrink the image by clicking it and dragging the corners inward.
   
3. Convert it to bitmap and download it again.
   

Insert the image you want into the paint tool, but make sure the canvas is 500x500 or less, then resize the image.
