The Official ESRB Thread Revival Thread

If you were here back in 2016-2017, you might have remembered one of my older threads, the ESRB thread.
It got closed down after a year and about 200 pages. Paddle never said why, or where to put one if I made another.
So here it is again. I know it'll be closed down, and in fact, that's why I made it; so that I would know where to put yet another revival thread when this one gets closed down.

Until then, though, here you can speculate about what rating any specific not-yet-rated indie game will get, and talk about how stupid some ratings for some games are.

Also, unlike the older thread, you can talk about all video game rating boards here.

WARNING: Anything I post is either stupid, sarcastic, or ironic. I am not to be taken seriously. Feel free to make fun of me for anything I say.

The Official ESRB Thread Revival Thread

Was your other one this one? If so, @Paddle2See did give an explanation for why it was closed:

Sorry - this topic is not a good fit for this forum section. Please review the Posting Guidelines.
I'd say this topic isn't really about a specific game, book, movie, or TV show that people find inspiring. As a result, it is off-topic and does not fit in the “Things I'm Reading and Playing” forums.

In addition, as the ESRB ratings cover a lot of games, the thread may have been used to discuss games in general, which also isn't too specific. Furthermore, we don't necessarily need discussions about potentially mature topics — Scratch is for all ages. And lastly, parts of the original thread seemed to be a little rant-y — perhaps a studio about the ESRB rating would be a better fit.

In the future, please don't revive topics closed by a Scratch Team member without talking to us first. I'll be closing this thread until further notice. And, of course, please review the Posting Guidelines.

This is my forum signature! On a forum post, it is okay for Scratchers to advertise in their forum signature. The signature is the stuff that shows up below the horizontal line on the post. It will show up on every post I make.

I was a Scratch Team member from May 10th 2019 to October 29th 2021.
