So does anybody know how to change your profile picture to the default one?

Maybe take a screenshot of the default icon, and use that?

Go to @example's profile, then right-click the picture, then click “save picture”.
Turn that picture into your avatar.

As stated above, go to any old profile, snip it (screenshot it) and save it. Then set it to your profile picture.
If for some reason you cannot screenshot, right click the image, save it, and set it to your profile.
