I made a Scratch profile page design concept with a totally different design!

It's definitely very different, but it wouldn't fit in line with the current website design that the Scratch Team is going for, which is similar to the 2.0 styled webpages, but with brighter colors, a more simplistic look and slightly bigger text overall.

I just added a new Discussion Forum design concept.

It looks cool but doesn't really fit with the rest of the website, I think making the background brighter will make it look better but that probably wont make it fit with the rest of the website.

If the colors of the design were changed to fit the rest of the Scratch website more, then maybe I would support.

I just edited the pictures to look more like the Scratch colors.

Mind you that the website also has to look good on smaller screens like phones. A separate mobile website (as hinted in the forum design) is not a proper modern solution anymore; the expectations today are that the website should relayout with minimal differences in functionality and design when it is resized.

Also, the navbar has a lot of words on it; make sure all the words fit when in another language, like German or Russian. Additionally, your design doesn't show the signed-in user's username and profile picture, unlike the current design.

1. Yeah, you're right, but I wasn't thinking of mobile devices when making this.
2. I didn't put the profile picture and username there because I didn't think anyone would notice. (Just pretend it's there). There could be a feature where if the language was switched to a language with longer words, the words would automatically become smaller.

Changed it so the background's blue and added navigation bar.

Ehh, sorry, but that design isn't my cup of tea - the colors you chose don't look very good with the header color.
It's to much to look at; There isn't any white, even for behind the About Me and What I'm Working On. Also, the font looks kind of like the early, early website style.
Overall I think it could be better. No support.

First one: Semi-Support. It seems like an improvement and a degrade.
Second one: No support. I think it would be hard to that

Hey, you're right. The font does look like the really old version.
I'm not sure what colors are good for this design, this is the first color change I've done so far.

Your proposals are nice, but it should be optional. I cannot live with this theme, someday I will have to switch back to original Scratch, right?

Yes, that's a good idea. Even I wouldn't be able to have this theme all the time. Maybe custom themes should be a new suggestion?

i'll say it looks interesting, but honestly i'd rather they continue working on migrating all scratchr2 pages to scratch-www instead of making a new layout. i do very much like the glass layout though, although it doesn't really align with modern design trends unfortunately .
