Leave Form
For how long are you taking a leave?: Permentally
Have you read the Terms and Conditions fully?: Yes,
Other: I'm more an animator than a coder and have a lot of stuff to do. So I'm resigning.
We will not reject your leave for any matter, just make sure to follow the rules in the Terms and Conditions.

Also, I don't have time to all these long posts. I would find it easier to have premade templates instead of having to find previous activity checks and quote them, find all the current members or write pure bbcode from scratch.

Sorry man, wasn't trying to make it so long - it was supposed to be a short post with one or two paragraphs but it ended up infinitely long. My dad looked at my screen and thought I was writing a whole story

No worries, also I think you should accept that many workers have other commitments: screen-free time, music, sport, family time, personal coding projects, ect… We probably don't have all the time in the world to commit to SUCS, also on the Spritesmasher store. I can't find the order list so idk what to do. If you could give daily notifications of their orders, it might be easierWelp, there goes my afternoon

I am aware of this - but I'm pretty sure that reading the Terms and Conditions once (which is a one-time job, never again), remembering a rule (one time job), finishing orders of partnering shops if you like (optional), making the shop active while inactive (depends on how my mood changes), and answering a question (one-time job) should just take about 30-60 minutes. And if someone only has 30-minute screen time, they could spend 20 minutes on something they like and do something for SUCS the remaining times.

I understand… But could you also consider adding templates so employees find it easier to post bumps, tips, activity checks, ect… Like you said, it's a one time job and would make future repetitive jobs easier. ~snip~

We should stop before we start a flame war, that would ruin our reputation

uh hello? me here.
Leave Form
For how long are you taking a leave? Probably permanently, until I ask to join again.
Have you read the Terms and Conditions fully? Uh.. about a month ago.
Other: I have other stuff to do, like running my own shop (when I gain confidence again), and just doing random stuff.
Bye. I organised an event advertising SUCS about 2 months ago. (it was a bit of a disaster lol) Realising I'm probably leaving forever is pretty weird, especially a shop I openly supported.

Let me make it clear - I FULLY respect Nambaseking01's opinions, and do not want to create an argument surrounding this post (the post is already heated enough) - I just want to respond to some of the points I didn't fully agree with.
I actually don't know where the unclaimed orders are, AFAIK they don't have a UOC and nobody at SUCS (again, AFAIK) has linked to the orders - kinda hard to find, but I am trying…
This is a legitimate piece of criticism! I don't have an argument against this one, other than what Geo already said (no screen-time).
Time to leave from reading this notice now!
I have no problems with this part, other than Geo's argument again, and the fact that older people may actually have a lesser chance of recalling/knowing these conditions (neurons already locked in, other stupid stuff your brain does).
Again, legitimate point to criticize - and I don't think the screen-time argument applies here. If you're taking an order, you should have a lot of screen-time :p
I read your tips up until the “Repost” part :p
–
Again, I don't mean to tick anybody off with this post, and I'm sure none of it will actually be acknowledged - nevertheless, I needed to waste my time because there's two practically impossible orders under my departments and I'm still trying to find Sprite's unclaimed orders…
IMPORTANT NOTICE - VERY SERIOUS AND COMPULSORY FOR WORKERS TO READ
I'm a little mad because I'm noticing many problems with our staff members. Please don't take this seriously, as this is just mere criticism and you can choose if you want to accept it. I'll be going over three mistakes I see that occur often.
(1) The Spritesmasher shop is our partnering shop and they informed us that they have an overflow of orders two times. In the Partnerships post, we have clearly agreed that we can finish any orders of their and it doesn't matter if we are a coding-*specific shop. Yes, I know you have to read terms 4.1.2 and 4.1.3 before finishing orders of partnering shops, but is that really very hard? Just read two terms *and see what orders you can make. I'm pretty sure the orders there are way easier than the ones here. Additionally, they are partnering with us which means they are *dependent on us for helping them (and of course, they need to help us when we have an overload of orders as well), so I'm pretty sure doing so would really help.
I actually don't know where the unclaimed orders are, AFAIK they don't have a UOC and nobody at SUCS (again, AFAIK) has linked to the orders - kinda hard to find, but I am trying…
(2) ///snip bc i'm not vice///
Continuing from my last point, if both president and vice president are inactive, then someone should take up the rear and do something about it. The last time just I went silent, everyone else went silent — why? Because everyone thought they were unauthorized to bring up the rear again. You don't even have to host activity checks, hire people, or do any major acts that the presidents should do - just simply telling all workers to come back online, advertise the shop more, that's enough. It's not like “Hey, Nammy is going, so let's go away too! lol!” (no offense, mere criticism)
This is a legitimate piece of criticism! I don't have an argument against this one, other than what Geo already said (no screen-time).
(3) Whenever someone applies to join our shop, I think they just read until the code_nammy part and then think “oh, the rest isn't important” and then come and lie in the application form that they read the whole Terms and Conditions meanwhile they just read that part of it. I know some of you probably read the whole thing - which doesn't mean that you can leave from reading this notice now.
Time to leave from reading this notice now!
Anyways, the others might be asking “Nammy, why should we read about rules for people who want to partner with us? That's not our business!” But keep in mind *that you never know when you might get appointed as a BoD member because someone is resigning, or you win the elections.
In some high positions in the BoD, as many probably already know, you are allowed to accept partnership requests. How will you know what kind of partnerships you can accept if you haven't read the whole Terms and Conditions? Or, worse, how would you know when people are breaking the rules of thread maintaining on SUCS and tell them not to do it anymore? I have seen many, *and I mean many workers ask me questions meanwhile the answers were clearly stated in the Terms and Conditions.
I have no problems with this part, other than Geo's argument again, and the fact that older people may actually have a lesser chance of recalling/knowing these conditions (neurons already locked in, other stupid stuff your brain does).
(3.1) Additionally, I think the Terms and Conditions clearly states that you are supposed to notify me whenever you complete orders on my profile or on this shop. You might think this is optional, but no - it's for the image and reputation of our shop. I want to add every single order we have completed to the Completed Orders section - the current order count is at 15, but who knows? The actual number might actually be 18, because a worker didn't notify me in the past!
Again, legitimate point to criticize - and I don't think the screen-time argument applies here. If you're taking an order, you should have a lot of screen-time :p
(4) Question (optional to read)
Does anyone even read the Daily Tips? I set up the program so that workers have something to do at all times, but I don't think anyone cares, and stopping the program would drop a bag of work off of my shoulders as well, so let me know your thoughts.
I read your tips up until the “Repost” part :p

Daily Tips
Repost of yesterday's tips with minor changes.
Hey guys! There are currently three orders in the UOC - one in HTML, one in CSS (apparently), and one in Python. If you could try making them, it would be awesome! Two orders are still due and the other one is overdue; you can choose which ones to finish first. If you feel like you don't or can't finish those orders, then you can always go to the Partnerships post and see in which shops you can help out. Also, the Spritesmasher Shop is having an overload of orders, so helping them would do some good.
But before making orders in partnering shops, please read terms 4.1.2 and 4.1.3 in the Terms and Conditions.

IMPORTANT NOTICE - VERY SERIOUS AND COMPULSORY FOR WORKERS TO READ [REPOST]
I'm a little mad because I'm noticing many problems with our staff members. Please don't take this seriously, as this is just mere criticism and you can choose if you want to accept it. I'll be going over three mistakes I see that occur often.
(1) The Spritesmasher shop is our partnering shop and they informed us that they have an overflow of orders two times. In the Partnerships post, we have clearly agreed that we can finish any orders of their and it doesn't matter if we are a coding-specifc shop. (2) Another thing I've noticed is that whenever I go inactive on this shop, everyone else goes silence. I'm pretty sure, in the BoD details post, it clearly explains that the vice president should do the work of the president if they forget to do something or they go inactive. The last time I merely asked our vice president to do it as a test for practice, they “didn't have time” to post literally 4 post, and he just had to write one of those himself and the other ones were already written by me and he just had (yes, the 60-second rule exists, but if you think about it should only take 5-10 minutes to post everything amidst that existing). Of course, no offense to him, like I said — mere criticism
Continuing from my last point, if both president and vice president are inactive, then someone should take up the rear and do something about it. I want to add every single order we have completed to the Completed Orders section - the current order count is at 15, but who knows? Anyways, I would like to add I didn't try to offend anyone in this post - this is mere criticism which means you can choose if you want to follow these basic rules or not. I would be really happy if you do, but if you don't, I'll still be happy that you are part of our team. You guys are amazing - sometimes I feel like I don't deserve a shop with such amazing and kind people. Feel proud

Does anyone even read the Daily Tips? I set up the program so that workers have something to do at all times, but I don't think anyone cares, and stopping the program would drop a bag of work off of my shoulders as well, so let me know your thoughts.

Feel proud
