I know that this announcement will slightly disappoint smileycreations15 since the poll for Node.js is cancelled, and I am also not very happy to announce this but I have a good reason. Not exactly certain if they even have server side scripting capabilities (I'm no web developer) but I'm pretty sure they work nicely as console applications, too.

A suggestion (looks like I'm already integrating into the shop ecosystem): Allow all languages, however instantly deny orders that involve server side scripting.

Huge announcement!

I recently announced that server-side languages are not allowed. Fortunately, ResExsention has suggested a better idea. We are going to allow server-side scripting, but the customer has to buy the web server themselves if they need one. So Python is returning and the banned languages are becoming allowed! The poll for Node.js and the one for PHP and mySQL are continuing!

If you suggest an idea and the founder or presidents are not sure whether to add your suggestion, please do not start flame wars. We will almost immediately add your poll to the Poll Jumble (info there - it gets reposted everyday) and give the link there so everyone can vote whether the suggestion should be implemented. Make sure your suggestion is appropriate, and does not involve any memes or you know.

You are not allowed to propose any massive changes (minor ones are allowed) to the Terms and Conditions unless you have permission from the founder.

What happens if a suggestion poll is a tie?

The poll will be re-done in 2-5 days, and we will advertise the poll in all our threads so more people can vote to prevent more ties.

Is the BoD allowed to announce official polls?

The Board of Directors are strictly forbidden from announcing official polls. If they do so, they will get a strike. Also note that you get two strikes if you are a normal worker and try to announce an official poll. They are both still allowed to create random and funny polls at the off-topic studio.

Of course, no pressure, we won't give strikes all the time, it will happen rarely if the member has made more mistakes in the past.

What if a customer/worker gives a suggestion that are not up to these guidelines?

It's not really an issue, as people can make mistakes like this.
